We are slowly moving along (note the update on the blog, the checklist of where we are in the process!) We have just one more home study to go next week and then we have to complete the dossier (all the paperwork needed for the actual application to the country/adoption house). I know we will get through it, but wow is it intimidating(the to do list)! Things we have to complete and get together before the home study & dossier are done include: fingerprinting (twice), psych evaluations, lost of forms, re-issuing of certificates, getting things notarized, etc. I am trying to remain calm, as my type A personality wants to get everything done in record-setting time and have it all done by next week-which is impossible, it usually takes a few months... So prayers for patience and constant reminders that God will make things happen when they are supposed to are appreciated :)
In the midst of everything, I cant help but stop to be thankful for it all! It is so obvious that God is walking through this with us. It is always hard to be thankful for rough stages in our lives, but looking back I wouldn't want things to have gone any other way :) We are so thankful for everyone's support and encouragement, we hope you all have a great thanksgiving holiday!
